Manage attachments

Pardon me if this is a stupid question, but how do you attach a pic that you've already uploaded into your attachment file? When I hit the "attach file" button, my only choice is to upload more pics. I've already uploaded my pic and attached it in one thread, now I want to attach the same pic to a different one, but I can't seem to do it.
Anyone understand what I'm talking about?

i might be misunderstanding your question nate, but the manage attachments i think is just for that post, so you have to re upload it again for a different post.

Oh, OK. Thanks. I was just tripping because there's a folder in my User CP that's got a bunch of pics I've attached in the past.

sorry for the delay, but if i understand correctly, you'll need to open a second internet exploer window, and navigate to your user cp...then insert the img that way...thats how i do it.
