Making the cup holder more user friendly

Ahem, and I'd like to point out that the model in Lisa's pic is moi wearing a vintage 5 year old faded grey hoodie from the Woolworth. Not that it's all that good looking but still, that was me.

Yeah but Lisa you have an 03 or 03.5, can't remember. Anyway, they fixed that w/your model, made the cupholders taller and took off the cover. I like the cover tho so I'm not complaining too much about having cherry cola flavored floormats.

Best way to avoid cup holder problems is to just not use them! Haha. Thats what I have found. I have tried and tried to make a workable cup holder. I even fiberglassed a trim to fit over the cupholders to create high sidewalls, but the problem still remains that the cup holders are placed too close to the radio bezel for larger cups. Just hold them in your lap if you can. Thats what i always did unless i had a bottle with a lid or something.
