I want to thank you all for meeting up with the mainlander!! It was very nice to see those nice P5's and the (1) Protege. I actually was supposed to fly out with Aloha but I got burnt. I will be flying out on Wednesday night with AA.
I can't wait to come back again and I will be on this site more frequently.

I am going to push Team Pro5 there and see if I can set a Cali chapter off.(usa)

Team Pro5 Sticker

Hey Efren,

Wanted to get some of those TP5 stickers.
PM me if you have some and I will PM you my address.

Hey folks,

I'm going to be on Oahu for a while this summer, cant wait to get back to the islands! (lived there as a lil kid, and then also 7-11th grade)...,

anyhow, I hear that sacred falls and the toilet bowl are both off limits now? Is that true? Surely it just takes a bit of perserverance but ya can still go right?

Cant wait to jump kapena falls again!

Anyhow, just curious how things changed since...oh......1992

yup sacred falls is closed from what I hear although never been there myself. Toilet bowls? Damn I'm from here and never heard about it. Kapena falls is still open but hella dirty. If you want a jump comparable to that I suggest maunawili in Kaneohe. Nearly sharded myself jumping that. When u planning on coming? Im sure some of us can find some time to cater.

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I've heard of mauunawili, never been though...As for the toilet bowl, just picture standing on the beach at hanauma bay, you walk around the point to the left. (opposite side of witches brew). It's just on the other side of the cliffs/point there.

I hear theres at the beach to try and keep you out now. Heres a youtube vid:

Basically theres a natural jetty, that funnels waves through a tube into a 'pool' a bit inland. It flushes up and down...maybe you just have a different name for it. :)

I .......................CANT.............................WAIT!

Pretty sure the haiku stairs are in my future too.

Hey welcome back to Hawaii... I lived here most of my entire life but things changed in the past 10 years.. I'm originally from Ewafornia but know very little of the Island.. I lived on the ninth island (lasvegas)and I Know more about that island.... So see you soon....

If you want a jump, go to spitting caves at China Walls. That s*** is scary, i didn't even jump it. Mostly because i seen a few "In Memory" plaques right by the jump point.

spitting caves. Your crazy. I would never jump that sh1t. I've seen a tourist jump before. It was all good till he tried to get out and got chewed up. By the rocks. He was fine but a little bloody.

Btw haiku "stairway to heaven" stairs is also closed. There's a hike out in Hawaii kai that has a great view.

Sorry couldn't meet w/ u djcharlee. It was a bit too late for me to meet up. By the time you guys met up...I was snoring away.

Stairway to Heaven is closed...but people still sneak in. I can see them going up every now and then (not as much as before though...maybe security is actually working hard now). Sometimes people get stuck up there and the helicopter has to go get them.

China Walls...NO WAY! Scary! I won't even fish there!

Sacred Falls...are you referring to Maui? I never got to jump in. Last time I went...there was a drought. There was absolutely no water.

Hey all,

Man..that spitting caves thing seems alot more dicy than waterfall jumps. :) Fine line between bravery and stupidity....my luck i'd get tangled up in the molokai express.

Regarding Sacred falls, I mean the one on Oahu. You probably know of it because there was a rockslide there couple years ago that killed several people over a mothers day around 8 years ago I think. I heard second hand that lawsuits prevailed, and they closed off access to both sacred falls and the toilet bowl place I referenced. I definitely plan on getting back to toilet bowl..., and I'll most likely risk whatever fine may occur for Stairway to heaven. I'm not sure if i can remember the way to Sacred Falls, particularly if the park/parking area is long since gone....we'll see. It was a state park off Kam highway.

I mean no disrespect to any deceased, however in my opinion going certain places/participating in certain activities carry with them inherent risks which one must personally assume. Closing access to areas due to lawsuits against the state, robbing everyone else of experiences.....I disagree with.

On a side note, I'm gonna be one broke haole.. Rice and bean time....but hey..it's rice and bean time IN HAWAII for MONTHS. :)
