on those apc ones from protegegarage are the signal light amber or blue/white?

And I noticed the option to order them already color coded, any experience on how close they come to actually color matching?

hi guys just got done installing the m3 mirrors that are powered and have the blue led lights. got them from ebay and was worried after reading the beginning of this thread that i was going to have issues.great news i had no real issues other than getting the mirrors polarity fixed ....up is up down is down now!! took me about 2 hours to get the polarity figured out but got. i dont have a camera to take pitchures but i will do my best to explain step by step how i installed mine.

we colormatch them to the vehicle using the EXACT color codes mazda uses.

the lens is white, i believe the bulb is amber but can be changed. a 194 bulb i think.

My Side markers... I always wanted some of those. The closest I've gotten to those are the amber lights close to my head lights. For some reason when I bought my car it just didn't come with it. I got my car close to when it first came out out though. Speakin of those, do you happen to know where I could replace those amper ones with clear ones?

As for the color matching that's relatively easy. Just take it to any autobody store that paints and they should be able to look up the color code on your car and match 'em. That's what I had them do with mine, they were originally chrome when I bought em of e-bay.

Damn dude.. no sidemarkers.. i dunno then... i tapped in real easy on those... if you have a wiring manual you should be able to find the blinker wires under the doorsill, but i wouldn't recommend that if you don't know what you're doin.

only the 2002.5 and 2003 p5's came with sidemarkers... but the ones that first came out didnt. u could tap into ur turn signal to make them blink...
