Lug Nut Question?

First off...this place rocks!

Okay...so i am going to be painting my stock rims soon. True Red MS3 with black rims and red calipers=sweet arse. At least to me. :)
So to keep with the black and red them i of course want the lugs red.
My question is...do i paint the existing lugs red or dish out and buy some new ones? If i buy new ones...what do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance!

honestly, i think the contrast of the silver on red would look really nice. otherwise, i don't see any reason why you should bother buying new ones. painting them should be easy, right? hell, you're also guaranteed a perfect match if you paint them yourself!

I just want to stick with the black and red theme you know... blackin out the symbols... but i know the rims will need the contrast. That what i think the red calipers with do...i hope. HAHA... but i will probably end up painting the lugs myself shoot gotta save money for those Coil covers right?

ohhh...you COULD consider black wheels with red lugs or black lugs with red wheels? either way, just paint it yourself and save the money for other mods!

hrrm...after some picturing in my head, i think black wheels with red lugs would look better on a red car than red wheels with black lugs...=d

Also, if you paint the lugs now on-the-cheap you can always toss em and get some red anodized lugs later if you don't like it.

I can't imagine the paint would last through too many wheel removals... You may want to prepare to paint them again after a couple tire-rotations.

red anodized tends to fade to pink after being in the sun for a while, just something to keep in mind
