Lrg. grill removal??, adding X-towing cooler

Has anyone ever removed the large front grill and can you tell me how too?

I have located tabs on the grille around the bottom and sides. They can be pushed in and it will allow the bottom and sides to disconnect from the front valiance. But at the top of the grille, I can't tell if it has more tabs or is held in place by the bottom tabs. Do I pull downward on the grill to remove it at this point?

Also, any pointers from others who have installed an extra towing cooler would be great. It seems to be straight forward.

Will be taking photo's for an "How To". New 07' CX-7.

Thanks,
Hoyt

Everything is extremely easy to remove on this car, I removed the bumper in my driveway to punch out a little dent on the bumper ( u know, New York City), it took me 1/2 hr total take-off/install. Actually, when I put it back on the seams fit even cleaner! The big grill? Just push it or push/kick w/ ur foot, it should come off clean, it's very light -the tab grooves. I take good care of mine, it's still pretty much scratchless. The dent in the bumper - I popped it back out, so back to normal, surprisingly no scratches.

Thanks StickShiftCamary,

I was able to find the tabs located on the top of the grill. Using a thin "wide blade" flat screw driver to release each tab accross the top side (slide the flat blade between the grill and valiance), I was able to remove the Lrg. front grill without any need of the foot.

Once the tabs are losened, simply push the bottom side inward and rotate the grill to the 1:00 or 11:00 position and it will come cleanly out of the grill hole without any force. Gives you a nice working area to work with. Also, I noted at the Dealer, Chrome versions are offered, so for those into chorme but hate to pay to have a Dealer instal it, it's an easy 10 min. job.
