Lowest True Cost to OwnSM Vehicles for March 2008

haha, I can confirm the validity of the Honda Fit ownership cost as I just sold mine last week. We owned it for 23 months and sold it for $1750 less than we bought it for NEW from the dealership. During ownership all I paid for was oil and filters....it was without a doubt, a low-cost to own vehicle.

we got our '07 in April 06... (rockon) I miss it a bit, but we didn't really need it now that we have the Mazda.

cost of ownership may also include tools, testing equipment and maintenance manuals.. for do-it-yourself weekend mechanics owners.. ohh and beer related expenses.

Nice work! Reminds me of the '00 Neon we sold last summer. Put ~40,000 miles on it over 3 years and sold it for $200 less than we bought it for. Super-low maintenance costs, too, and no major repairs. That's low TCO!!
