2003 Mazda Protege5
Hey Guys,
So i lowered my 2003 Mazda Protege 5 about a year and a half ago on Tein S Tech Springs which is lowered 1.8 in the front and 1.5 inches in the rear on Tokico Blues Shocks and what happened was i used Stock Moog End links which only lasted less then a year about 9 months and now there garbage there Clunking every where . I was told when you lower a Car you need Adjustable end links because the the Stock end links are way to tall for a really low 1.8 inch drop there about 11 and 3/4 for the stock end links in the front the rears are to tall to but there a little shorter so my Question is Who else Make adjustable end links for our Car besides AWR and Corksport? Im trying to save some money by not spending so much on the AWR which cost $115.00 for the pair front to back is like $230.00. Any info on this is highly appreciated. Thanks guys!

when i dropped my car, stock endlinks would clunk so i got the ford escape end links raybeistos brand. which are a bit longer and that fixed the clunk for me. ive had them for over a year now and they still good, with no cluck at all. hope this helps.

Thanks Man yeah ive herd about the Ford Escape End links there ok but i actually just got finished making and Installing my own Adjustable End links using 3/8 steel Rod and some 3/8 Female Hiem links they came out pretty good they were noisy at 1st and unfortunately they got bent a little bit so i bought some Sway Bar polyurethane bushings to dampen the noise and that solved the problem completely. They dont make anymore noise and even though there a little bent they work for now and the Suspension is pretty firm and that"s what counts . No more problems!

I'm in the same boat now that I added a C/S sway bar. I was told I shouldn't have to worry about it even though the bar is preloaded as s*** so now (and I get a periodic clunk) I'm looking around. I'll look at the escape ones too

Get the mazdaspeed protege ones at rock auto the longer ones make sure the sway bar is level to the ground

Dont waste your time looking at the Escape ones I bought them an d i had to return them because the Grease fitting doesnt fit it hits the Strut tower. Just by the Moog MP5 ones there the same thing and the Grease fitting is located underneath instead of ontop

I actually have Duralast on my car now but i want to get the Moog ones again except this time with Grease fittings
