Yeah I'm tired..thanks Az! hot temps on an atx....invest in a tranny cooler. another thing to add...were you carring any luggage/heavier than normal items in the car than normal? also Az are you driving conservatively or...like the car was designed to be driven(Like It Was Stolen)?AzMz3 said:I live in AZ too, but have not felt any loss in power. I drive with the AC on most of the time too. Either something is up with your car or it is the auto tranny.

yes, the A/C compressor turns off at WOTQBCERUS said:I also experienced something with my new 3 I had never experienced before with my other cars. When you accelerate very hard, it feels like the a/c turns off by itself. I would like to know if someone else experienced that. Let me explain it a little bit better. If you have the a/c on and you shift down in 3rd gear (for example) and you step on it and shift up around 6000 rpm and step on it again (when you want to pass someone let's say), you will feel very warm air coming out of the vents. Remove your foot from the gas pedal and in a matter of seconds the cool air comes back. Does someone have an explanation on that?
does the power issue happen during highway driving, or just when driving in heavy city traffic?
