Loud click noise on shifts

I am hearing a very noticable "Click" noise, mostly when releasing the clutch in first gear. The sound is comparable to a large rock stuck in your tire treads, but a bit louder. Just single click, on almost every 1st gear clutch release on casual acceleration. I also get the click occasionally when I am already in gear, not only in 1st, and I have also noticed it happening on bumpy roads while in a constant gear and without any clutch enguagement or gear change. It seems to have no bearing on the use of the gearbox, always occurs after I have selected a gear. There doesnt seem to be any change in performance, rear wheels are still getting power.

I did have the clutch TSB repair performed about 30K miles ago. Any thoughts to what this is? Should I be concerned?

I noticed the same thing on my car. After looking at the linkage, where is connects to the tranny, it is just a little play in that that you hear. Look on the right side of the engine compartment and play with it with you hand it should clear up any concerns. But it dosent seem to be a problem to me.

I have the same problem, in 1st, and in reverse. Occasionally in 2nd while getting going. I cant seem to pinpoint a pattern tho.
Im going to take it in to the dealer hopefully this week to get a diagnosis. Im not concerned about it, but hey, I still have the warranty so why not.
I'll report back.
