loud bang noise?

so i was driving on the freeway on sunday morning, and i heard a loud bang coming from the engine compartment. i was shitting bricks at first since i thought it was the motor mount. i pulled off the next exit, popped the hood and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, looked all around. freaked me out. but since then i've been babying the car trying to listen for noises. It does seem louder than normal. but then again that could be me since i drive
with the windows down and radio off now just in case.

anything i can look for? i scheduled my car for service for next week for oil change, tire rotation, and the windshield cowl fix thing as well as any service bulletins i have missed.

i didn't run anything over, nor did anything hit me that i'm aware of.

nah the car didn't hit anything, was smooth on the freeway, i would have noticed if i hit a pothole or something, and i checked the side and rear view mirrors afterwards to see if anything flew off or was on the freeway. nada

went to the dealer today for oil change/tire rotation since i had a coupon.
tech said the reservoir bolts came loose and hit, he re torqued them and there shouldn't be anymore issues. wtf with the loose bolts?

no s***. seems that in between the intercooler bolts and every other bolt they seem to not be holding as if no lock tight was used or something. my rear sway bar was ready to fall off about a week after i got the car a year ago. i heard a nasty "rattling clunking" noise out of the rear end and was like WTF?!?!?! then he said he had to pull the bolt put on lock tight and re-torque it. its crazy though for sure.
