Recently got it serviced at the dealership plus they had to take care of a few things, mainly update my navigation and troubleshoot the remote start they'd installed when I took delivery of the car back in '13 (It's a CodeAlarm system). Basically my remote start seemed to be stuck in valet mode, could unlock/lock but starting the car did not happen. Car was in the shop for two days, got it back today and the remote start is working perfectly however the walk-away door lock function seems to not be working correctly now? I do not get the automatic beep when I close the door and when I walk away it doesn't lock, and when I try to lock it from the fob (the mazda one, not the fob for remote start) I get bombarded with a series of double-beeps as if the car thinks my fob is inside still. All doors are closed, lift-gate closed, and hood is shut. note: I've NEVER had to use the remote start fob to unlock/lock my doors properly, it has worked with the mazda fob since I got it originally. Had to use the remote start fob to stop the beeping and lock the car, which is extremely out of the norm for how I've been using this car since purchase.
Any ideas on what I could do, unless I should just call the dealership?
