Looks like the MS3's only competition is still a year out..

I do the same thing to my 97, between the premium and cheap suff there was no noticable diff in performace or milage.

Yet, I'm surrounded by friends who couldn't care less about cars.

One of my friends didn't know that she had to change the engine oil in her (new in 2002) Maxima GLE and ran it for 13,000 miles. The mechanic was puzzled -_-a (followed by a shock), but the engine was in perfect condition after all the oil (more like nasty dark jello at that point) was removed. -_-;;
I guess Nissan does make good V6 engines. *^_^*

I can't believe I'm actually going to admit this in public, but I think I drove my 93 Integra about 30K w/o changing the oil. I did this to my Pathfinder (this was more because I hated that thing) as well - only more miles. I bought it w/ 32,000 miles and sold it with 150,000 - only changed the oil twice. Gotta love the Mobil1!! Car is still 100%. Motor is still as strong as ever.

Hmm... even when the manufacturer recommends 91 or higher (sister's Maxima)? I hope you're not suggesting that I can get away with 87 or 89 in my MS3.

Thats weird, I see quite a few of them on the road. Unless you're just saying that jokingly.

lol~ I wasn't being serious. -_-;

Maxima = N/A MS3 = Turbo

If you keep your mouth open for too long, a fly might crashland inside. =P

That thing does nothing for me. At all. Granted I've never driven one, but it looks like a miniature cute-ute. Ick. A 300 hp miniature cute-ute is about as repulsive as Porsche's Cayenne Turbo. (ughdance)

Thats true. SUV's in general do nothing for me. I don't mind pick-ups but SUV's are useless to me.

Amen. The Calibre is ugly as sin and very much an SUV very poorly disguised as a car.

Last I heard (Correct me if I'm wrong) the Caliber SRT was going to have 205 wide front tires and 300 HP (can you say wheelspin?) pulling a much heavier vehicle and it has no traction control as far as I can tell. with the MS3 Mazda went to a great deal of trouble to make sure the car is drivable by limiting power in the first two gears.
...

They say 225/45R19 if you look at the specs for the tires.

Gonna cost some money to change em once you burn em!

Yes, I corrected myself after someone brought that up (Post #26 on thread) and yes again they are going to be expensive. So far Tire Rack only has Pirelli's in that size and they go for $249 each!!

(omg) Good grief! One things for sure though, ugly or not, the SRT Caliber is going to be plaid speed fast.....assuming the tires ever get traction.
