I bought a P5 bra from someone for $50, but I don't want it anymore. I haven't even put it on. It's not the best bra, but it isn't broken. Here's the thing... I need a stock tire badly. I have a slow leak that just went faster in leaking, and I'm taking a trip to Lancaster tomorrow.

try the fix-a-flat in a can.....stuff works pretty well......

Go to a tire shop and see if they can patch the tire for less than $10.
Do you know where the leak is? Do you have a nail in it or a small hole?

Go to walmart and get a tire patch kit, it's really easy.
Take the tire off the car, put on the donut (donut will get you to Lancaster and back if you need to, just drive 55 and under). Swap tires around so the donut is on the rear.

Take your leaky tire, fill with air and submerge it in a full bathtub. Look for the air bubbles. Or spray it with a dishwasher liquid and water solution and look for the bubbles.

Remove the nail etc and poke the round spike file through the tire, run it in and out a bit to widen the hole.

Put the tire patch rope on the applicator spike and get it wet, jam/wiggle it into the hole you just made. Jam it in so about 1/4 of the tire patch rope is left sticking out.
Yank out the applicator spike and fill the tire with air.
You should be good after that.

Sorry man, just sold my last set of spare tires or I'd hit you up for the bra.

fix-a-flat is not meant to be a permanent fix. You probably have a nail or a bad valve core. Take your car to a tire shop and have them look at it.

if it is a tread puncture have it pluged at a service station, they do it right there it takes 5 minutes and costs next to nothing.

Well, I think the problem is on the sidewall. I know that I had a nail plugged before and they told me I had a small leak on the sidewall. Any fixes for that?

lol,j/k usually the sidewall is the worst area for a leak.actually it is the worst area.A plug will fix it but if your tire flexes the sidewall rubber will tear cause it is not as thick as the rubber that touches the ground.Best bet is to plug it and drive carefull, and get that new tire asap.

call some tire shops and ask what a used tire is running. They usually have a few because people replace theirs by the set. You should be able to score one for about $20. It will atleast get you another month. Most of the time their is a good amount of tread on them.

yeah, i could possibly just get it somewhere... but I wanted to keep the Dunlops together. I hate to have different tires too, but I guess I do have to get a tire.

Get 2 similar tires, even if they are used. If you get two or one, make sure you put them on the rear to minimize handling problems.

Hahahaha, nah bro! I have yours up front, they were really good with a lot of meat! I bought one last year sometime when I got a bubble on my tire, that one went bad.
