Mazda3 Skyactive HB i GT
I have a 2012 Skyactive HB i GT that I got the wife. I added some wheels but it needs a drop bad.

The issue is that it seems from everything I have read is that the sky active is particularly light in the nose compared to all the other cars as you can see in the photos stock the nose sits a little higher about 3/4" compared to the rear. I was going to get some Racing Beat springs because I heard the drop is minimal and that the ride is good. BUT they drop the rear MORE than the front and with this model that just won't do.

So any suggestions on a spring that drops the FRONT more than the rear and will maintain as close to a factory ride as possible?

Seems that most manufactures have not taken into consideration yet that the SA's have a lighter front end... Most springs I have found look to be designed for the heavier 2.5 and speed cars.

Thanks in advance!

Eibach says their springs for the 12 mazda3 are currently in development. Hopefully they'll be out soon.

Or you could get road magnet 1.75 front springs and 1.25 rears.

are those TSW Nurburgring? what size are you running? i'm looking at a similar setup :)

I think it looks good as is! Sure, it could look better, but lowering it will just increase the chances the front bumper finds a curb. :)

What kind of mileage is she getting?

you should be fine with the RM 1.25" all around. while the front end of the skyactiv is lighter, it doesn't look to make much of a difference.

here's a 2012 sky with RM 1.25" springs and TSW nurburgring (your wheels, right?) wheels

and here's a better profile view of another skyactiv with the RM 1.25" springs, this time on 17s - looks nice and level
