Have the door trim pieces ever saved someone's doors from getting dinged up?Some dumbass girl i know dinged my door pretty good the other day! My doors keep getting hit everywhere except on the door trim so im thinking about taking mine off pretty soon also.

i guess it depends on the height of the car, the angle of the door to the car etc...i've had dings on other cars with side moldings!!
