Looking for an update on GM Syncro

I would like to here from all those out there using the GM Syncromesh tranny fluid.

Does the shifting still feel good?
How long have you had it in?

I have used both the Redline MTL and MT-90 on some of my past cars and while there shifting felt great for a thousand miles or so it soon returned to its regular "nochiness".

One last thing, during my search on this topic I read that there would be a HOW TO write up with pics; was this ever done?

My shifting still feels good and it's been about two months since I've put the Syncromesh tranny fluid in. Haven't grinded gears *nearly* as much.

I didn't do a how-to at the time since the dealership put it in for free while the car was up in the air (cv axle problem), however, I will make a how-to when I do it myself after they replace the axle again.

what u want a how to on, the tranny fluid change?

Thanx T3ase.

Pdhaudio,

Yes I would like a "How To (sticky)" on the tranny oil change with pic of were the oil drain and oil fill holes are. While I can figure it out myself, I have found that this is the most asked question when reading the tranny threads.

I used sycromesh on my civic for 4 or 5months. It shifted fine for a while then it started to grind in 2nd and got really notchy. Put the honda mtl back in and started shifting like butter again.

I'd never use gm syncro in my car again. Try asmoil 2000 tranny fluid, i've only heard nothing but good thigns bout them.
