im looking at buying an 08 rx8 gt, dealer is asking 33,900.. curious on how low i can get him to go. Im willing to pay 33 with taxes included but people say I can get lower.

opinions? any thing I should look for?

There are several up on the buysell for 29,900 so im gonna get a print out and just bring it to the dealer, I like the black one they have so im gonna try and work out a deal with them before i go somewhere else.

well i got them 29,900 taxes included and i asked them about the 09 r3 gunmetal rims. Now im trying to work out a deal for the rims to rope in with the car.. he was talking about switching them with the 08 stock rims on there but apparently he might not be able to do it, i may have to buy them. so now im just waiting to see what kind of deal hes gonna give me on the rims before I buy the car tommorow.

kind of excited haha. go from an 03 protege owner to an 08 rx8 owner.

Good luck on the purchase...as for the r3 rims where as they look really good save your money and pick up a set of aftermarket wheels and rims to set the car apart from everything. Also you have to figure not only is the dealer going to **** you on the price of the rims if they factor that into the financing you will be paying interest on them as well.

I like those rims but they are not very popular with the people that buy the R3. You might wait and find them some where on sale. I bet the sales man will sell you the rims but will give you next to nothing for the ones on the car.
