lookin for some feedback

I like my Racing Beat a lot. Has finished tip, looking like it came from the factory, plus a sweet tone, and no drone. I have not heard or seen a megan one in person, but I am not loving the tip.

yea i looked at racing beat and the only thing deterring me from it is the price. thats why i like this megan one cuz its only $115 with shipping and tax. and ive seen a few people on the site that have megan exhaust, so i figured id check into it

Yeah. But you get what you pay for in stuff, I have learned. Maybe the Megan is ok, but look out for any reports of droning on the freeway, and stear clear of those exhausts.

Agreed. Thats why I went with RB as well. It's one of the few exhausts that you can actually do a 6 hour trip and not be tired from hearing droning.

Worse comes to worse, try it out, if you don't like it you can always sell it.

never seen or heard the n1s but have seen a couple other megan and they look and sound great. and raider im just going to have to fix your never heard or seen one before... we need to meet up

yea not lookin for droning heh, but yea i think ill try it out and see if i like it, if not i can sell it to one of my friends. and how big is the stock piping? i hope its 2.5"

hmmmm. well 2 different opinions...not good. might hafta crawl under and find out for myself. unless someone knows, which i hope someone does, on my driveway i cant crawl under my car very easily (i live on a huge ass hill)

Just installed a Racing Beat cat back the other day and I love it! it looks great and sounds nice. go with the racing beat you won't be sorry. I got mine from NSN motorsports, steve there did a great job I am very pleased with it. Hopefully I will get some pics of it tomorrow

im sticking with 2.25
hmm kinda sucks, you think there would be anyway to modify it to 2.5? cuz i didnt see a megan muffler with a 2.25 inlet

I have the stock piping in my basement...I just measured it at the flange and it seems to be 2"

u should get all new piping anywayz. u dont just wana roll with a tip...

and slkt... id like you to elaborate a little bit, because everything ive dealt with from megan has been good.

I have the exact muffler. So far the best sounding that Ive had. I have 2.25'' piping from the headerback. And when the obx header was on, it droned alot on the highway 70mph+. Now that I have the header off, it sounds so much better. Much deeper, and doesn't drone really. The silencer it comes with comes it handy too. I wish my car sounded this good with just the injen cai and the headerback the whole time Iv'e owned it.

alright thanks

Stock piping is 1 7/8".

I have the Megan cat-back. Great product, but it's loud as hell. I'm running an OBX header as well along with it.
