Well it's not un natural to see pimped out caddy's or pimped out SUVs in the ghetto with big ass rims, now is it? Parked in front of a house with the front yard gate hanging off the hinge. A lot of different people hold many things in priority over what would seem more importantTurbo Matty P said:true.....I'm going to take some pictures for you though....nothing against anyone here but there are so many run down trailers here with brand new vettes parked in the yard (I mean yards...no driveway even). There is at least 3 one street over from where i live.
Someone's priorities are WAY out of whack.
here at my university, we have a lot of twisties, anyway a solara was in front of me the other day, purposely going slow then acellerating hard to leave me in the dust. I got left behind at a red, when the light turned green, I was surprised that I easily caught up with him after maybe 5 blocks. Anyway he tried to leave me in the dust again, but the roads ahead were the twistiest on campus, and I stayed right on his tail the whole time. It was to the point where my 2 passengers were complaining that it felt like I was taking it too easily, you couldn't even feel any body lean yet, and I'm still on stock suspension. But you could easily see the huge amt of body roll on the solara during every twisty. That solara was slowing to 35-40 on turns that I can confidently do at 50 without scaring any passengers, and usually no one in the car gets scared till I take those twisties at 60.Subghetto said:http://www.zer0.info/solaraguy/viewtopic.php?t=7018
We beat a Toyota Solara (naughty) LOL they call the guy a pussy (hah)
I used to have an 86's celica gt before i got my p5. I'd go as far as to say higher end accel on that car was better than my p5. But it was definitely not as confidence inspiring in the twisties. Also, its low end is almost non-existance, but I still loved that car, just as I love my current car. Bonus being people in the back dont complain about being cramped anymore, and neither I nor the passenger needs to get out to let ppl into the back seat. Oh yea, also my p5 doesn't eat oil like my celica, and it doesn't skid when I brake hard in the rain. But my p5 doesn't smoke or chirp its tires like my celica, probably cuz my p5's tires aren't nearly bald like my celica ones were.Turbo Matty P said:chick cars for chicks who only drive automatics!
Celica's are ass...never been a decent celica except the GT4 AWD turbo 2.2L.....it was so good Toyota doesn't make it anymore.
