well I decided today would be a good day to install all my parts that had been laying around. The install took from around 9am to around 3pm with some breaks of course. I had a turboxs fmic, street unit shift bushings, cobb shift weight, trz motor mount, cpe towplate, maddad boost gauge, forge bpv, and hella horns. Everything was really easy to install, the fmic fit like a charm and was a very nice quality piece. The su shift bushings were again easy to install and you DO NOT need to remove the whole dash it's very easy to reach in there. The shift weight again was very easy to install and I could not believe how clunky the stock weight is. The motor mount was easy to install, its only a few bolts. Tow plate with the bumper off took 30 seconds...now....the gauge took awhile considering I put it in the driver side vent so it took awhile for the trimming and wiring, but it came out very nice. The hella horns were a very easy wiring job and since I bought the regular style horns not the circular ones I did not need to make a bracket.
OK so overall impressions, the car feels amazing. The power feels about the same yet it drives so much better. The shifting is crisp and precise, and the engine movement is gone. Vibrations are of course present but I actually enjoy them because it makes me feel more parts of the car, you can feel the clutch engagement much better. I am sure I will get questions on how does the bpv sound, so for all you guys it sounds good, yet almost to loud for my taste. It holds boost great and the car felt stronger all the way to redline.
Since it gets dark early I did not have time for pictures but I will take some tommorow.
