It's a little ways off still...but hoping to hear more from others around DC....don't want to be in the area around the base (I heard its in the hood).

depends on how bad of a winter it is, sometimes it gets down WAY below freezing in march. or you could see a 75 degree day in march. it just depends

WAY to many officers to salute lol same as andrews, officers are every where... I was Security Forces in the AF and did a bit of time at McConnel theres not much on the base but Wichita isnt a bad City, at least I havent found a reson to leave lol... but yeah the side of town that the base is on is awsome its the more wealthy side of town, its like 15 minutes from town and 5 from the mall, which aint to bad in its self, its a nice mall it doesnt take you forever to get from one end to another but theres alot of stuff in it, plus Its two stories yeah thats right lol, the cost of living is fairly cheep here and gas is only 1.79 right now for premium WOOOO lol. the people here are fairly nice as well theres a couple of those bad apples but noone really pays attention to them... the tunning and raceing scene here is big to from base housing ints like a 20 minute drive cross town to the drag strip which they just redid, so its awsome lol, its all around a good place to live and aise a family if you so choose to...
