Local SoCal Speed board??

So Ive noticed that all the local boards are either WAY huge and nobody really knows anybody or nobody even cares enough to maintain local G2Gs or anything, so I was thinking about hosting a bulletin board called SoCalSpeeds.com. It would be mainly MS3/6 but other cars as well, since I used to own a Focus and have alot of local Focus buddies. If I were to do this (I have a fried who is a web designer) would anybody else join and keep up with us? Like, go to G2Gs, Dyno Days, BBQs, road trips, etc etc etc??

yes alot of us cali post there.
PLus i posted inmeets and cali section for a meet on saturday 12:00 my house,
birthday get together. about 30 people plus. This is prettymuch the only board i got no response from!!

SOem of us meet pretty much every teusday at signall hill. and soem are meeting at cerritos mall parking every other friday!

I did check there, it jsut struck me as being way too big and caring more about the carshows than actually hanging out and stuff, getting to know eachother and BBQing or whatnot. I was thinking something a little mroe casual, where we could just G2G and have a few beers or something.

A buddy of mine from my old Focus board hosts a board and set up a trial forum for us to see how well it woud take off, f it would be worth buying the hosting and all that. Heres the link.

Wic board cared more on the car shows.

ON mocc there is alot more of craking personal fun at each other, drama is less. member last week drove down from northern cali to buy parts of a riverside member.

You are welcome to coem on saturday. It at my house. Where i have had car meets get togethers, and just chill time, and work on cars there. My neighborhood is chill. and relax (we can ride quads and dirt bikes till 10:00 at night no one call cause they do it also).

BUt you are welcome to coem over.
I knwo on mocc they have bowling meets, bumper car party , mazdafest (the people runing that board run mazdafest). and ther ehave been dave and buster nights. Just ther enot just speed3 owners, there all mazda owners, and everyone is welcome.

Not takign away form this foruims. But its just mroe centralized.

Yep that time again. My b-day party. Love the amount of people that came last year. Would love to see more. Have chatted and made more friends. seen many new forum names.
This unfortunately is a kinda Pot Luck, as in I am going to buy Pizza, But drinks and snack if all wish I would like to make pot luck. (if i win the lottery it will be catered). Basically bring what you woudl liek to drink and some and im going to hit pizza and get about 20-25 pizzas.

People remember parking last year (down to cars on my sidewalk) SO the earlier the better parking.
I am also Renting a jumper (yes 32 in life kid at heart) I am asking the neighbors to bring a Boxing Ring. Mainly cause i want it!!!!

This is at my house for new comers. There is a Restroom. and if anyone wants to drive from a far distance and crash First ones to speak up get the kids rooms. (total of 4 beds).
Starts at 12:00, ends when everyone decides to go home. I will bring out the fire pit again.


Also If you are under 21 and drink you will be staying. Or had to much to drink anyways. You will be staying I 1 im responisble for that, 2 i dont want anyone to get hurt, or hurt anyone else!

This is an idea of how many we had last year. Lets shoot for more peeps (and soem had left by this time).

I had a wonderful party last year. I appeciated every one for coming. (biggest party i have ever had for myself). And this year i will try to make the cake bigger to feed more! I hope you all can make it!

nmost fo the guys there meet every saturday at mazda HQ for cars n coffee.

everythgi from model t's to audi r8 and bugattis show up. its free, get there around 6:45 and park with all the high end cars,
from 7-9 and soemtiems they meet a little before or hang out afterwards, plus jeff that runs that page is doing tv work with school ro somethgi so he has a blog spot called mazda 3 tv where he is makign videos of meets, and tryign to get videos of performance stuff and so on.
