Loaner car program

I happened across the window sticker from my 2002.5 Protege5 last night. I noticed that "Loaner Car Program" was listed as one of the standard features of the car.

Does everyone else have this on their window sticker? I feel like some other people here have said they did not get a loaner car from their dealer. If it's on the window sticker from the manufacturer, I would sure as hell hope every dealer would give you a loaner car.

Its part of your purchase, the dealers is to provide you with a loaner car for any warranty work done to your car

i didnt get a loaner.. my dealer said they didnt participate in it.. cheap fuckers

I can't understand how a dealer can choose to not participate. If it's on your window sticker then you PAID for it. I would complain to Mazda.

Its a MAZDA program, not a dealer program. The Dealer gets paid back for the loaner. Just like they get paid from Mazda for the warranty work. Call Mazda and complain the hell outta bout it. 1-800-222-5500. :D

funny part is? as my loaner car when the dealer had to fix the front end aligment on my ~1200 mile car? a 2003 F-250 CrewCab turbo diesel?!?! It sure felt odd getting back into my go-cart feelin PR5 after that! :)

Even better, next time you go there and ask for a loaner, tell them to either give you a written explanation for why they will not give you a loaner or give you a loaner. If they refuse either call mazda while there and put the service guy on the phone with them and make him tell mazda that they don't participate.

Just found this on Mazda's site:

Of course, even repairs without charge still mean that the dealer has your car. We know there's never a good time to be without your wheels, and with the Mazda Transportation Solution, you won't have to be. Repairs under warranty will no longer keep you off the road. Take your car in for warranty work at a participating Mazda dealership, and you can get a loaner car at no charge. Just ask. You won't have to arrange your day around a repair schedule, ask friends for rides, or catch up on your magazine reading while you wait. The Mazda Transportation Solution is in effect for every 2001, 2002 or 2003 Mazda for the duration of the new vehicle limited warranty. You'll find all the details at your Mazda Dealer.

See your dealer for complete details.

I would start taking your car to a different dealer if possible.

Mine did. I got a bad Focus SE when my car was in for the new clutch and whatnot.

I got an 03 protege lx auto last time my car was in. I just had to pay $4 for gas.
