I took this photo near Pebble Beach today, and i really like it. How big can you get a print at 1600x1200 without grainyness (like if i took it to be printed at walmart)?

i was just jokin, due to your "noone answered my question" comment. It's a nice photo. I'm no photo expert but if it was made to be less blurry and the contrast changed a bit, it would be nicer

Awesome picture. As for how big you can make it, I don't know. Try a photo store. Wal-Mart employees aren't going to have any idea of the limits of digital photography, nor is a Wal-Mart going to have the best printing equipment.

Besides, Wal-Mart is pure ******* evil.

they have those cool photo machines though...i know they tell you what size is best, but i was hoping to get an idea before i went.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 8x10, after that it'll start looking crusty

you can't beat costco's prints....320dpi, $1.99 for an 8x10.
Walmart, CVS, and other drug stores use a process called dyesublimation, which is comparable to bubble jetting a photo on your own printer...less than a year before it starts to curl and turn colors.
