Let the wife drive the P5 - Dent!!!

Yeah...so my wife likes to run over a Razor Scooter with my car.

Now my front left fender has a huge dent in it. :mad:


Can anyone suggest a place online to get replacement body parts for the P5? My plan is too get a new front fender and being the hood got scraped too get a after market hood.

Yeah..pretty Fooked.

What happened is she ran over the part of the scooter where you put your feet. And then it whipped up into the car. Picture the old cartoon character stepping on the lawn rake into face thing.

Only it was my front fender not a cartoon characters face.


Any place online I can get the front fender? Being I am gonna have to repaint it, I am also looking into getting a after market bumper and hood too. If she screwed my car up, she cant say s*** about me getting new stuff to replace the parts she screwed up!!!

thats what i was thinking...i wish someone would sit on my hood or something so id have an excuse...in any case...as for a whole bumper, prolly the dealer is gonna be your best best unless you go with the whole custom kit thing...as far as a hood, are you looking for carbon fiber or aftermarket?

My wife even used my children against me to get to drive my P5. We were at her partent's house with both cars and just as we were leaving, she says to my daughters "who do you want to drive you home, mommy or daddy?" My daughters love me so guess who gets the minivan. Thats when I went out and bought a new car seat for my P5.

I can relate.

I was at a friends house today rebuilding the rear diff in the truck.
The pinion seal & bearing went out and some more problems, but that's another story.

Anyway the wife had the MP5 today. Well the car needed gas & I had the discount card.

Well I got home before Christy did. So she picked me up at the house to go get gas. She was showing me how much better she had gotton at speed shifting.

She took a right hand turn too sharp and hit the right rear rim on a curb. OUCH! It actually kicked up the ass end.

Took a chunk of rubber out of the sidewall and there is a shiny metal spot on the rim about an inch long.

Now she said she won't ever drive the MP5 again and I have to hurry up and finish putting in the new wiring harness in our 66 Mustang.

Time to start saving for 17's I say.

You can try car-part.com for the fender. You maybe be lucky enough to find one in your color and just use the saved money for more mods.

yeah hopefully u will get lucky or else u will have to go thru the dealer which will cost u alot.
