Less and less msp's on the road, WTF?

there are 6 in my little corner of the world.. never met any owners but saw a few of them.

2 yellows ( mine is one) , 2 spicy, 1 titanium and 1 blue ( not sure)

one spicy and the other yellow i know have been abused liike hell.. the spicy blew 3 engine and 2 turbos and now has no warranty. the other yellow blew one engine as he upped the boost and the dealer gave him some slack.. only once though.

blue and titan i dont know..

im doing what i can to take care of mine.. the previous owner was dumbass.. he didn't take care on the body and paint like i will... although it was not abused, it has rolled in salt, sand, snow storms and it shows...

with me it will be diffrent, first i dont drive it in winter as i have a compagny truck that i park in my driveway in weekends.. and use it a little..

second, im rebuilding a bigger garage than i have now to put all the toys in..

and its never gonna see a snowflake again.

If Mazda knew how to properly build a car then there would be more of them still on the road.. but they dont, so there's not..

i'm sorry, but asthetically, the MS3 would never be near the MSP, EVER

that MS3 might have a great engine/turbo whatever...but it will always be HIDEOUS

MSPs? What about MP3s? Maybe I'm not on the lookout but its been a while since I've seen an MP3 photo gallery or discussion.

I think all these special edition cars will eventually fade away. Only the Mazda enthusiast will truely remember them. However, the uniqueness of the MSP was Spicey Orange. The other colors are nice but they blend into the rest of the sport tuner crowd. Spicey Orange sticks out and will be the one people remember 10-15 years from now.

I'll drool over them until I have the money saved up to buy one :)

Maybe not hideous, but she's a plumper. MSP/MP3/P5/Protege is better looking by a longshot, no contest.

The more I do to it, the more money I spend....living in the capital of car theft in Canada, I drive it less and less. It's a love/hate with this car. I actually have no use for this car, I still drive around in my old car 98% of the time. It's just a freakin MAZDA!!! I imagine sometimes...like what if it were a Porsche or a Ferrari...GOD! It's just a money pit and a ton of stress but I'll never sell it.

lol yeah, those are a little important...and aparently its not an isolated incident...

Wow, that is not good. I'm sure there will be other issues that will arise as well though. A loose bolt or 2 is not that crazy. I know I had a few come loose on my MSP, just not the fricken' motor/tranny mount bolts...

the clunk is annoying...makes a huge squeek everytime i even sit in the car...everytime the car hits any bump or the body shifts on a turn..it SQUEEKS...gettting on my nerves....and yet i still love the car:D

and MSP's are very rare in canada...ive sn 4 altogether i think
