LED Reflector How To?

is he from this forum? I'm just looking for someone else that has done the install this way I know what it involves/how they did it

yeah, uhateit on these boards.
he tapped into his tail lights i think. not too sure.

you have to drop the bumper in order to do the back two reflectors

I can get to them with my stick arms lol. I know I saw a thread saying that you dont need to take it off if you can contortion(spelling/even a word?) your arms enough

contortion is a word. it is a noun.
what you want is a verb though, which is contort.

LOL

i read that one person was able to squeeze up there, manage to unscrew the reflector and get the new one in without taking the bumper off...but that will cause you so much pain and grief, it doesn't sound like it's worth it.

i have a how-to written for the removal of the rear bumper, although no pics were taken. lmk if you have any questions about that

hey I was just stopping by on this one. YES the bumper has to come off when yuou want to install the ones on the very back of the bumper

I tapped my side ones into the license plate lights (that way they stay on when the lights are on) But my back ones I tapped into the brake lights on the taillights (which have to be removed to take the rear bumper off anyways. That way my back ones only come on when I hit the brakes

did you just use t taps?

i just used my step dad's wire stripper that he has, a nice handled one with a spring, and pushed a tiny gap in the insulation of the wires and then tapped them in like that with black electrical tape. But t-connectors can be used or those plastic crimper things. Just like tapping any other wire

I like this idea! The more information I can provide for the mouth-breathers around me, the better. I've seen some bad opinions of the vendor, though. Plus, they don't seem to have any installation information readily available. Not too keen on taking the bumper off, either. Have to cogitate this one.
