As members of this site, do we have the ability to get SEMA tickets?

If not, does anybody know where I can get some?

Thanks,
Mark

if i'm not mistaken, you have to be in the automotive business to be able to attend.... or if you have hook ups or contacts that can score you some guest tickets.

I'm going again this year. How many passes do you need? I already ordered ones for myself and my co-workers. So I'll have to see if I can order any more.

You'll also have to accomodate your own airfare and lodging.

P.S. ChopstickHero is correct. The show is NOT open to the general public. You need to be in the industry to get tickets, or at least be able to "prove" you are.

You might want to post this in the Nevada forums. I think some people on this forum from Vegas have the hook ups for SEMA.

I've already got a thread in the Nevada section about SEMA. People can just post there if they want.

mraasch, are you both over the age of 18? And I believe one of you has to be 25 to rent a car.

SEMA is press/dealers only a couple days then its open to the public and you can buy tickets at the door.

SEMA will probably ask for paperwork on the people you are letting in that dont work for you. I work for a company and I was supposed to go with some friends but with all the paperwork it became a pain.

Are you sure? Last year, I didn't see anyone walking around without an ID badge on. And the convention is only 4 days long. It takes at least 2 full days to see everything, 3 days if you stop to look at stuff...and 4 days if you stop to look at lots of stuff and talk to people.

Last year, I registered our car club as a business and 4 of us went together with no problems. So many people are signing up, it would take them FOREVER to verify every single one of them. However, this year, we're going as our real business, so we have all the paperwork needed, which is a business license, photo id, and business cards. Last year, they only asked for a business card when we got there.

Yes, my twin brother and I are both (gulp) 38 years old. No problems there!

Well, I'll check out how many more passes I'm allowed to get and go from there. I don't know if they will let me since we already signed up for and paid for the 3 passes for those of us going.
