LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Kyle Orton will start as the Chicago Bears opening day quarterback -- beating Rex Grossman in a competition that lasted through training camp and two preseason games.


Orton started 15 games in 2005 and three last season. He's completed 233-of-448 passes for more than 2,300 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Grossman quarterbacked the Bears to the Super Bowl XLI but has been oft-criticized for turning over the football. He has 30 career starts, with 31 TD passes and 33 interceptions.

i admit that our offense needs working on, but c'mon. we have quite a few good receivers, our line isn't horrible and we COULD have a decent running game. but kyle can not hold on to the ball. he has no movement whatsoever and just stands there until someone throws his ass on the ground.......or until he falls........whatever the case may be. time and time again. he has no talent. just not cut out for the nfl. i have said it a MILLION times, i will say it one more: He is like Rob Johnson. PERIOD. That is who he reminds me of.

i wish i could bring up youtube at work. the funniest clip of boller ever is him practicing on the sidelines against cinci and he drops the flippin' ball. HILARIOUS! but that's kyle.

they boo kyle all the time too. they actually got pissed becuz this weekend they kept him in and didn't bring in flacco to start the fourth. then after boller threw an INT they decided to bring him (flacco) in.
