Kumho Ecsta ASX vs. SPT

Actually, it's common practice for some people to put new tires on the rear.

The reasoning behind it is that it's better to lose grip in easily-correctable understeer situation (front tires) than in a more-difficult-to-correct oversteer situation (rear tires).

Oh... weird. I was just assuming you want new ones on the front as FWD eats the front tires much faster than the rears.

Has anyone mentioned that the ASX is an all season and the SPT is a summer tire? The compounds are different, the SPT will out handle the ASX in terms of sticking better. Depends on your driving needs, personally I think this car needs a tire that grabs, but that's me. I drive (and I mean DRIVE) my car. I want some rubber under me that can handle the power I'm putting out... (yes)
