klze swap ? input, suggestions, advice

i really want to swap a klze into my msp and either sc or turbo it ive been looking around and have seen it done but saw people where having issues with compression, wiring, and getting enough fuel inside. just was looking for some input from some people who know more about the klze than i do and seeing what people thing of the idea let me know what you guys think and if you have any advice thanks everyone
 
dan[sac] on club protege did a klze swap in his 323 that he had planned on supercharging with a mercedes supercharger i believe. he mounted it where the ac went. here is the link for it

and i am doing a klze swap into my protege (link is the pic in my sig) all of these guys are nice and helpfull i am currently having electrical propblems so i am not the best to ask for electrical stuff but anything else dont hesitate to ask.

i havent decided which but eventually one of them plus i am also thinking nitrous
 
thats awsome now ive been reading those posts you sent me but i havnt seen the issue yet come up the klze has high compression which means issues with boost you hear anything on that yet? or any ideas about it?
 
ok im kinda new with the kl whats the differance between the de and ze
 
the de is the american version it had lower compression and less HP approx. 165
the ze is the japenesse version and it had higher compression and approx. 200HP
 
I have a good bit of experience with kl's and in my opinion if you are gonna boost it I would save yourself money and just use a KLDE, if your looking for a nice performing N/A build than a ze is 100 percent the way to go. Its alot of hassle to track down a good condition ze with all the componets you'll need. itd be much cheaper to just buy a parts car with a DE and swap it in than boost it. low boost fuel wont be much of an issue with millenia s injectors and a afpr (they drop right in) but a engine management setup would probly be recomended to get the full potential out of it.
 
thanks i actually just hydro locked my fsde two days ago so the msp is off the road but i work in a garage and a 2002 millenia came in smoking so we replaced the engine with the klze due to it being the only engine my job could find so i was able to have the old klde that smokes for free :) okay now when i swaped the motors i had to swap everything from one to the other all in all i have a klde block and heads and i have klze everything else(intake mani exhaust mani all sensors etc...) just wondering if that is going to make my life harder but what can i say it was all free
