does anybody know the difference between the klze and klde. not that they are different hp and compression i know that i am curious as to why

the klde is usdm most usdm cars dont get the awesome motors for some reason this is true with many auto makers such as honda,suzuki,mitsubishi,nisssan etc. The jdm cars usually get the better motors for some reason unknown to me.
 
EGR.

The KL-ZE manifold do not pass over the port in the back cylinder head so the flow cannot make it into the intake manifold to carbon up the entire thing.

The only exception was the millenia. It had the EGR valve on the back of the intake manifold instead of the engine.

KLDE: 9.2:1 compression, smaller IM with round intake ports, matching intake and exhaust valves, VRIS, around 165 bhp.

KLZE: 10:1 compression, better flowing IM(larger square ports), oversized intake valves, better flowing heads, more aggressive cams & VRIS system, and better tuned computer = 200 bhp.
