Ha, I JUST installed mine last night. It's super easy and you'll LOVE them!
Here's a quick how-to:
1. Grab some silicone spray lube and your favorite urethane-safe grease (I use marine white grease).
2. Jack the car up and find the first pair of hangers near the "J" section of the exhaust up front. Spray some lube in the stock rubber hangers where they are on the metal rods. This will make it a LOT easier to get them off. Remove one stock hanger.
3. Use your grease to lube up the mounting holes of one of the 10mm Kartboy hangers. This makes it a lot easier to install, and prevents squeaks. Slide the new hanger on.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second front hanger.
5. Repeat the same thing for the 2 rear mounts. Just remember that the rear ones are 12mm and the front are 10mm (it will say on the Kartboys).
That's interesting I never had a problem taking off my stock hangers. And the kartboys don't squeak; but they do slide a bit. used a lil too much grease lol.
Also note that the exhaust will be raised just slightly, especially near the tailpipe, due to the fact that the stock hangers would hang lower than the kartboys do.
If the height is an issue, you can just bend the metal rods that come off the exhaust. Be careful not to break the welds, though. Oh, and don't try this with exhaust that uses hollow rods like the JIC.
