KANATECHS Install Questions

So I have the Kanatechs TBXE-T005K double din intall kit in piano black. I ordered it from SHOKITS.COM. Upon receiving the install kit I was reading the directions which told me that because i have the bose sound system that I need Kanatech's sound system translator because of the various amplifiers that the bose system has so that my new hu will work properly. My only concern is that I dont know if I really need this piece I dont want to spend the 90 bucks to buy it unless I have to. Any help would be awesome.

I have the kanatechs kit also with the Bose system and didn't use there $90 piece. It is not needed lmk if u need any help.


Also idk if this is right but I believe the $90 piece is to bypass your new cd players amp so u can use the stock Bose amp. I could be wrong tho
