Is it worth it? Do you feel or see any difference? My MS6 is stock but I want a slight increase in my gas mileage (if there is any) and maybe a little more oomph in the butt dyno. I just want to know before I spend the money on it.

yeah a filter may give you a slight gas mileage increase but i dont you'll get anything in the butt dyno.

if you do it, i'd recommend gutting the stock airbox too. theres a how-to around here somewhere, but basically you just remove the bottom portion of the airbox to free up flow.

I'm running the K&N drop-in filter and can't say I noticed any difference in performance but maybe a bit better mileage ... cheap anyway.

Thanks guys. Do you happen to know the part number for the K&N? There are two different ones at advance and I can't tell which one is for me.

it is the same one as the mazda6 or CX-7....

The filter number is 33-2279

go do an ebay search for the part you need. I got 2 from Auto Parts Warehouse from their ebay store. One for my RX-8, my Mazda6 wagon and then one for my Mazdaspeed6. Never any problems at all. And they showed rather quickly.
