I was just wondering, the Injen CAI is only for manual P5 since the autotranny is on the way. How about the K&N CAI? coz I know it can also available for Auto as well.

Anybody know wut is the difference between the two?

or am I totally wrong?

i think you're wrong. if i am reading what you wrote correctly, then you are thinking the injen CAI is for manual cars only. in fact, it works for both. it's only the AEM SRI that has two different models for the different tranny's. the K&N is out of control expensive. if you have more than $500 to spend on an intake, then by all means, go for it. but otherwise, the injen works just fine.

$500.00 for an intake WOW

Injen CAI = Cold air intake ~$200
AEM SRI= Short air intake ~$150
K&N = short + cold Air intake(You can change SRI to CAI or CAI to SRI with their kit) ~$399

where have you seen the K&N intake for $400? corksport has theirs marked at $518!!!!!

so Injen CAL can also be avaliable for Auto as well? hmm...coz I remember the guy at the performance store told me the autotranny is on the way. Do anybody have Injen CAL install on autotranny?

injen CAI is for both Auto and Manual Tranny
and AEM SRI have auto and manual seperate.

oh man... i can see someone (the man) now...

unless the intake can be proven to have caused whatever malfunction or problem with your car, it will not void your warranty. if your fuel pump goes out, it's not because you have an intake. the dealer can't refuse you service. etc. etc.

I have the injen on my 2003 auto. Fits very nice but I don't like the rubber mounting foer it. Seems to wobbly.. TTY

which rubber mounting are you talking about? the one that allows the intake to flex with the engine's flex as it goes through the rpms? or are you talking about the one that connects to the throttle body?
