Just ordered my bcd from ********** or something, and my friend gave me his turbo xs boost controller for free!! I am really excited, all my money goes into the 240sx, so having a little bit of extra cash for the speed 3 is really exciting for me. I am going to take my boost gauge out of my 240sx (because my turbo is bad, need to get a new one and the racing season is over until February anyway) and get the triple mounted dash gauge pod (even thoug two holes will be empty until at least December, LOL) just becaue it looks so clean on protege garage.
What boost should I run to stay within a safe a/f ration, this is my only mod for now, I am going to get the chasis brace next and then a race pipe, probably a cai last and that's all I am going to do with this car as I think 300whp is plenty for a fwd car. God I love this car, I am going to spend 250 bucks and have 300whp, it's such a great car. I am going to set up a dyno session this Saturday at a Dyno shop here in San Dimas, hit me up if any of you guys want to meet up with me, my roomate is going to be bringing his twin turbo 300z, the 240sx wont be there because of the bad turbo, but I would love to meet some of you guys. Holler at me.
But anyway, please tell me the highest amount of boost I can run safely, I am looking to get 280whp from the bc and bcd. Thanks guys, it's great having this car, I wish I could make 280whp for 80 bucks on the 240.
