Took only 2 hours, not too hard at all. They look awesome! Alot better than the rusty OEM junk (boom07) . I got them off ebay from www.sportbrakes.com only 200 dollars FOR ALL 4!! I havent tested them out so I dont know how much better the braking will be, but ill let you know!

I will post pics when ever i get a digital camera.

PS: If you have a camera for sell new/used let me know. Just as long as its no higher than 150 dollars.

cool! looking forward to seeing pics *subscribes to thread*. I'm thinking of going x-drilled, but not slotted. why'd you do slotted as well? Edit: what pads did you upgrade to?

I didnt even replace the pads (rofl) . Im just going to wait on that till i need to.

However i just took a test drive and everything seems fine, except for the fact that the rear rotors are scrapping against the pads while im driving. It sounds terrible. What could I have done wrong?

what car do u have? p5 and mp3 use diff rear rotors than a mazdaspeed.. and vise versa. -=P

It's probably your dust shield (thin metal piece behind the rotor). It happen to me before. Just bend it back away from the rotor and it should go away. If it don't then there is something really worng.

I'm guessing he installed new, ie not worn=thicker, rotors without adjusting the rear pads. He used the old pads, so they still fit, they just rub real bad. Just need to adjust the rear pads, do a search for it, it's a little complicated, but it's been discussed plenty.

If the noise is caused by the pads is it something that must be fixed?

Well, eventually the pads will wear enough so that they won't rub, but that obviously will make you replace them early, plus the heat they generate is not exactly helpful. If you look around on the forum there should be a thread or 2 talking about it. It's not hard, you just have to know what to do, you don't have to take anything apart, can even leave the wheels on if you can reach the adjuster in the back.

Hi, sorry to bother you but i j/ got
some question b4 purchasin' some brembos.

i know Brembo didn't make Rotors that is made specifically
for MP5...but then i know someone in TOPROTEGE.com
has a set of cross drilled front rotor on his P5 but
all the info that he can give me is that the Rotor were orginally
made for Ford...

Can you help me by providing me the Part # for a set of (4 F/R) cross drilled (prefered)
or the regular Brembo rotors.....or let me know which Rotors that
is made for Ford that can also fit the MP5.....
