Just installed Cobb SRI -- question about the noise

When I step on the gas, there's a "SSSSHHH" sound (almost like the opposite of sucking in air) but when I'm around 3500 rpm and up, that's when there's the sucking in air sound. I followed the COBB instructions and everything fits well (I double checked). Just wondering if the early/temporary "SSSSHHH" sound is normal, or if anyone else is experiencing it. Improved throttle response is definitely there. Thanks.

you're probably hearing sucking but for some reason assuming that it's blowing out. im sure it's doing it's job and there's nothing wrong

I highly suggest you take the car to your local mazda dealership to get it serviced. The "shhhhhh" sound is definitely not normal and if ignored, will cause your vehicle to propel off the highway and into the sky, the following will result in you flying into the ozone and it can be fatal.

And you forgot the best thing---warranty void.(hand)

Does it sound like God is trying to drink the Pacific Ocean through a straw? Followed by a hamster sneezing?

Yea, that's normal.
