Just got slammed in my Speed

If it makes you feel better, my car had $6k in damages when I got hit. I got the *%#$ insurance company to pay "loss of value" damage on my car along with the repairs. They send me a check for $1,800 extra, payable directly to me. Which, I spent on bills and not my car... BOOOOO!!!!! If I got the same check again... man, the things I would spend it on.

*cringe*

damn man....sorry. Not to sound redundant, but glad you are OK. It is fixable, and hopefully you will have her back soon!

you should of pulled that little b**** out and told him to total the car, so you can get a NEW one. If I get hit like that I always get pissed because insrance will have it fixed over just scrapping it.

If there wasnt a light, then its your fault... on left turns without a light... its 99% the person making the turn's fault (or liability). you didnt have a radar gun, so thats irreleavnt. if you could tell the cop the other guy was speeding to get off it, then everyone would do it... c'mon guys.

Yes, I was making a left turn. On a road where the speed limit is 25. Kids everywhere. Small kids. Guy comes out of nowhere in the opposite direction probably going 45+, slamms on his brakes and crunch. I don't know if I will be found at fault. Police report will tell.

s***, luck is crap.

The msp comes with everything except good luck. First month after I got my msp someone broke my window and stole my stereo. Second month, some *** who dont know how to parallel park hit my back bumper and now it has a two pinky size license dent. Third month, i was driving through a neighborhood, when some kids throw a rock the size of a golf ball into the street, and it hit my msp's passenger door, giving it another big dent. I dunno what I did to deserve this. This is my fourth month driving this car, lets hope nothing happens. (shrug)

man take a sledge hammer to it before the insurance guy gets there... make sure you do a lot more damage then the car is worth that way he has to get u a new car :)... U know hit the turbo a few times, break the platic pipes, and a few hits on the side of the intercooler should do it

ouch!

after a couple months of owning my msp, someone decided it'd be really funny to kick the driver side mirror off. REAL FUNNY, FUCKWAD.

if it makes u feel any better...
happened on tuesday... (mj)

I just picked up the police report.
This Officers investigation did not reveal any indication of veh#! traveling at a high rate of speed.
I should go back to the scene and measure the length of his skid marks. Probably not admissible though since it's 2 days after the fact. I think I'm going to end up paying for this for a long time.

I don't know how much damage I actually have yet. The auto body can't do anything until the insurance company sends someone to look at it. Sheesh.

This curse is getting out of control. All I see anymore is messed up MSP's.

Sorry dude but the same thing happen to me in my Saturn. Lucky the guy only scrap my bumper, but the pressure of his Chevy 1500 doing 45ish was enough to rip the bumper off, bend the hood and send the car sliding on two wheels.
Despite the fact that the car was lifted on two wheels, and hit so hard that the drivers side speaker can out and was on the passenger side I was still at fault. Thinkful my girlfriend wasn't in the passenger seat, hate to see what would have happen to her since I was even tossed over into the passenger seat. But tt was my word againts his word on if he was speeding.
You will at the least need witness of people there who can say that yes the other guy was going faster than he should have been. But even then it doesn't look good. :(

Sorry man, least no one was hurt.

----

btw I was charged with failure to yield, resulting in a accident.
Went to court all DRESS UP (very important, suit and everything to the point people thought I was a lawyer) and showed the judge photos of the tires and how they had been drag and lifted off the ground. He gave me a $200 fine, no points which help since it was a 6 point fee. Plus my insurance didn't go up :) though when I turned 25 it didn't go down either since it was within 3 yrs of the accident.
