80 bucks and 100 bucks an hour is a bit much but that price is about right for a rotary rebuild
looks like they knew what they were doing by all the extra parts they ordered

did they say why the needed to put new rotors in? how did they come up with $160 for spark plugs?

other than those two things, it's not too far off from what it should be.

so expensive! spent $4400 for engine rebuild
i ****** it up!forgot to oil change for 4000 miles,Rotors got damaged
haha

OEM is the key word there, they prob got the plugs from the dealership and we all kno how there prices are..

Those spark plugs better give BJ's for that price! lol
basically, yeah. i just put 4 platinum ngk's in my 7 and it was $9 each leading and $6 each trailing. i had to go to 2 different locations to get both leading and trailing, but it was still worth the drive. i think that mazda only charges $12 a plug for the ngk's. should have been about $60 after their own mark-up and taxes.

damn! thats ****** up!

The plugs for the 8 are slightly different and generally run about 80 for a full set. 160 is still too much though. I have heard of folks running the 7 plugs with mixed results.
