I just got my p5 today and I am in love!!! I Am going to have soo much fun with this car. First things First, I need a new horn!!! Does anyone know of a horn that doesn't make the p5 sound like a fruitmobile?

I have a black 2003 P5! It has every option they have except Car alarm and cassette player. I am getting the Compustar Next week. Its a 5 speed and the dealer needed to go 3 states to get a fully loaded manual The sub is cool..Is it a pain in the ass to remove it when you need the spare? I will check out the horns now and thanks for the response. I guess they have standard horns that fit on any vehicle? I payed 17,800 for it out the door with the 5 year 60,000 Full Response Warranty. I still can't believe that It covers everything for any reason.

My need items are as follows:
Compustar 2wss
Horn
Nav System
Tint
Better Shift knob
Performance Exhaust


I will hope to have this stuff in a couple of months. Any Must haves?

no the sub is really easy to remove for the spare, but make sure u put it back right or it will move some !!!!

I even have an extra one from another local MSP since he replaced his horn with an aftermarket one.. So that's two horns from me and one from KY that you can have.

I just went into Autozone and picked up a low tone "Freeway Blaster" horn - you know, the nautilus shaped type horns. It sounds just like a regular stock horn should sound like..
not a freakin' road-runner "beep-beep" horn.

I can blast my horn on the highway with pride now!! (thumb)

I know a guy who installed nail guns in the rear of his crx for truckers who tailgated him since he drove two hours to work and back every day. He said it didn't do anything right away but after awhile the punctured radiator takes effect. Anyway...on the horn situation, air horns work great but just get the roadblaster if you want something simple but efective.

dude, the factory horn is perfect! perfectly annoying! just like it should be........for when someone p**ses you off and you want to get inside their head, just follow them around layin' on that sucker for a few minutes......lol

That is SO funny! The horn is the first thing I replaced as well! The stock horn sounds so wimpy!

I replaced my horn with a Fiamm Freeway Blaster.
