Just got back from getting alarm installed

My gf bought me a viper alarm i throw model number on here tomorrow. just got back from having it installed. Very Excited. has an auxilary button i can add remote ignition, and other things like remote neons....crap like that.

Viper is one of the best names for car security. Having installed them myself professionally for over a year there is nothing they cant handle. And if they cant handle it the lifetime warranty definately makes them superior!

On a more excited note, there is so many different things you can do with that auxilary button. You can have it control all your windows, you can have it turn on neons and such, you can have it power pop your door if you add enough of the right actuators and such (a little more difficult but definately an eye opener), you can have it do so many different things with the right relays and the right know-how that the sky is the limit. Yeah i was excited when he said i can control anything pretty much with that button. I had it installed at best buy. they also installed my 2k stereo system i bought there a week and a half ago it hurts the ear drums and they do good clean work which is important to me since i don't know what i am doing as far as cars go yet.

I am still trying to get pics of the system i will grab pics of the alarm...and i think i got a shorty antenna otw from a bud for xmas. can't wait to see if i get anything else for my car. only had it 2 1/2 weeks.

i have a viper 2-way alarm with starter and i love it......had it installed last fall after my car was broken into. best for hot summer days and cold winter mornings when you can start the car and let it cool off or warm up before entering........

Glad to hear you were happy with the install since I work for them myself. Depending on which unit you bought there really are a ton of differant things you can get. Sensors to tell you if someone is jacking your car up to tow it or steel the rims off of your car. Modules to roll up/down windows or open/close sunroof. A module to have your headlights come on when it gets dark out and also turns your headlights on with alarm arm/disarm for convieniance. There are more but I can't remember them all. Since you have a hatch make sure they hook up the trigger for the hatch on the alarm. The trigger is seperate from the rest of the doors.
