Thanks to all the people who have steered to this car.
I drove a 5 sp tonight and loved it.
Got a Number for monthly payments that sounded like music to my ears so I am taking the wife over tomorrow to drive it and then probably buy it.
I will let you all know.
Thanks again,
Carl

Awesome, Dr. GSR! (soon to be Dr. P5?)! I forgot to mention to you before that the mazdausa.com website shows dealer inventories pretty accurately. You might be able to get closer to your choce of options by looking there. Search for dealers in your area with your zip code and then go into the inventory search from there. Inventories are definitely going down as the 3 is coming soon. Good luck.

I could tell you were getting the P5 itch from your last post. Sounds like you were like me when you got up close to one and drove it - convinced quickly. Good luck!

Yeah, it didn't take much time at all.
Right now, my wife is calculating if we can do it. Another $285 a month you know, plus insurance. That is the big thing. Insurance. The Integra already puts it sky high. We will see. So far though, things look good.
Tomorrrow my wife will drive it. Then it will hook her and after that, just a matter of time. hehe
Anyway, I will let you know what/ when it happens.

The insurance on the mp5 wont increase it by much. When we got ours we got the multi car discount and its actually weird. If I was to insure the mp5 by itself it would be cheaper than if I was to insure my 99 civic ex coupe. Your Integra is high because of what it is and your mp5 will be way lower.

I hope you are right about the insurance thing. I will be finding out today if we are getting it or not.
Yeehaww!

I wish I could reconsider buying my P5. It just seems a little dull, slow and boring. But other than that, its a decent little car. No real complaints except the power.

Well, looks like we are going to wait for now.
The insurance quote is what did it. We already pay $3400 a year for the Integra. The P5 would be an additional $2500 a year. Those numbers are correct-almost $6000 a year on insurance. We are going to look around for other companies.
We are both under 25, with clean records. This area sucks ass for insurance.
I will still be around though.

awww, STUPID MI! :(

Was that just for liability or comprehensive? But dang, $2500 a year...that seems high. I hope my insurance on the P5 I get won't be that high, but I'm 16.

That is for everyhting. I don't want to do anything less on either the Integra or the P5 (if we get one)
Once I turn 25, I will get a huge reduction ($1700+ a year). That is five and a half months away though.
Anywho, that's life.
Bass addict-get on with your parent's policy and you should be good to go. Milk that for as long as you can.

hehe parents policy...its the way to go:D

so are you not getting one for sure? :(

What insurance company are you with? I'm single, 24, w/ a clean record and I'm paying $97 a month for my '03 P5 and that is full coverage. I also got a quote from another insurance company for $1500 a year.
