It's a big un, too! (wow) 44mm across the case. It uses the Unitas 6497 handwound movement.

God, I love the spaceview.

Have one myself, but it won't keep time and I don't have $100-$200 to send it to a specialist and get it calibrated.

Thanks! I know..... Mine runs about 2 minutes fast per day. Regulation will be a little over $70.00 from a good Accutron Specialist, I know of.

Looks alot like a glycine, similar movement I assume.
Sure! A familiar case design, for sure. Pacardt, Junkers, O&W, and others use the same basic case. The Unitas 6497 movement is a tried and true movement going back to the 50s. First used in pocket watches. It's Big!!!

Sweet. I like looking through them guessing the car and history behind it. Sorry know more about cars than I do a watch...in fact where is my watch. ")
It's fun sharing that. Next; and I know you all think I am crazy; I think I am buying a 1/32 scale slot car set-up. In my bonus room in the new house, I will have 14' 8" x 20' area to have a track.

Looks big, plus how the picture is taken causes it to full the space nicely giving the impression of it being scaled to its surrounding and thus seem real size. :)

Pure luck! That is all. It's the Olympus; not me!
