Just a question

I'm sure it'll fall on deaf ears again but there are 12 topics right now (7:22pm) that have been posted in today in the lounge. That's it. The oldest topic on the 1st page (with default display settings) goes all the way back to early last week! So, who's hair-brained idea was it to create the subforum within the off topic section for the few other topics like console gaming and such?? It's not like there is that much traffic in here to begin with that it needed yet another subforum - I mean only 12 TOPICS WERE POSTED IN TODAY.

yay for you?

glad to see the little things in life bother you so much...

This seems like it belongs over in website help and feedback.

I don't need this kind of clutter in OT (lol2)

True, because there are SO many posts in Off Topic it will surely get lost in the mix. I figured there wouldn't be an answer to this question....because there IS no logical answer. Simply makes the site harder to use. Actually I'm kind of surprised the thread hasn't been deleted....although now that I think about it it'll probably remain open so the mods can make dumb remarks and belittle the question, and THEN deleted. Whatever floats the boat I guess.

Activity in OT tends to rise and fall, and when it's kickin', a thread can get pushed to the second page after only a few hours. But it's a a lull at the moment.

Do you seriously actively try to find things that are 'wrong' with this forum to complain about? Just for the sake of complaining? Explain to me how an extra level of organization and (gasp) a whole one extra click to see the threads in the new subforum makes the site harder to use.
