You like it ? I'm gunna do mine as soon as the weather heats up a bit

Yeah.. I was thinking heavily about taking the overlays off.. They clashed terribly with the chrome.. Now that it's black they look a lot better.

anyone do this on a titanium yet? i think the stock gray might actually look better w/ the titaniums, just wondering if anyone had any pics to compare?

How do your lights work now? Did you notice any change in brightness at night? I would think that removing a large portion of the reflective suface, it would dim your headlights. Please tell me I'm wrong as I might like to try this.

The reflectors are still chrome...

What I painted was just chrome to match the reflectors and make it all look flush I guess. This is how P5s come in Canada.

I'm from Canada and mine doesn't have the blacked out hedlights:mad: . I did buy it used and it is a 2002, so maybe thats why. I might black mine out or even go red.

uhhhh what kind of paint do you all recomend, i want to do this once the weather will stay consistently warm too and my parents aren't home to see my car with a bumper off...ha

yeah my mom came home and was like "wtf" so i told her to go inside and stop freakin out lol. I used rustoleum brand satin black paint.. i like the satin finish, not too glossy but not flat

I used Rust-Oleum Bar-B-Q Black. It's basically grill paint. It's high temp, which you really don't need.. But anyways.. It's a semi-gloss so it's pretty nice.

I bought the paint last year but never got around to doing it until now.
