JOINING THE DARKSIDE.....

Well after numerous problems with my msp and s*** just never runing right, partly because of mazdas bad work on the MSP and my own faults, Im getting rid of the MSP.

I will be picking up a 2007 Honda Civic Si in Fiji Blue. It has 30K miles and its is 14,200 out the door. I never thought I would own a Honda again, but I just needed something more reliable then the MSP. A clutch, tranny, radiator 2 sets of tires all in the last 2 years is crazy. Plus numerous other things. I enjoyed it when i was running good, but its time to move on. I will be selling a few things i can pull off before i trade it in on friday.

sorry to hear. i'm sure youll have fun with the si.

what are you gonna be taking off the car? i might be interested in some stuff

The SplitSecond AFC will def be coming off since its easy to remove. The greddy RS BOV,stock bypass valve,TEIN springs and dual gauge pod will all be coming off. Also the stock calloway turbo manifold and possibly the Vibrant TBE if i can talk them into it.

word. if ur selling the BOV how much would u want to let it go for?? i might be interested in it. do u have ne pics?

I thought "darkside" referred to boost. So technically, you're leaving the darkside, since the Honda is N/A.

No?

Darkside probably works for switching to a Honda though :)

4 door or 2 door Si? I like them both. Great cars too. Are you going to keep it stock or start playing with it?

Yes it is a full Vibrant TBE (turbo back exhaust)

Honda is def the darkside LOL

I am purchasing a 2 door coupe. I am not sure how far I will modify it. No fi that's for sure LOL

That can be blamed on yourself or selection of tires. Either way post pics of the SI when you get it!

one set of tires is due to driving alot in a year, the other set is just due to bad luck. A piece of metal flew out of some ahole white trash construction guys truck and blew out my front tires.(luckily i didnt crash)

I will miss the great handling of the MSP and the fun of driving it. It was cool owning a semi-rare car, but its time to move up I guess. I am looking at an MS3 today to see if it will change my mind..LOL (rockon)

if the ms3 is going to be in the same price range you can't lose. 63+ more hp and about 100+ more torque, no contest. i'm looking into one right now myself.

Good luck with whichever direction you decide to go. Personally I'd go with the MS3, but I haven't driven either one of them.

What version of the AFC do you have? I might be interested.

(I am not bashing the SI in any way) I don't really consider the SI a move up, but more of a move over. I kinda look at a move up being like getting a G35 or CTS-V, something more grown-up and out of the econo-box genre.

I guess a GT-R would be an upgrade as well.

Yeah, but how many of us on these boards are honestly going to get into a GT-R any time soon. As much as I am drooling to be in one, I just don't see it.

Yes, I was a bit too optimistic, sorry.

I personally believe a Civic is too bland, even the Si, even the HFP parts. Just one guy's opinion though...

Matter of fact, I would choose to keep my P5 rather than get a Civic.
