sucks to hear, if i wrecked the p5 i would be very upset, although i canceled the insurance on it so i can't really drive it "legally" at least =), hope you get that car fixed asap! hopefully insurance pays for it, are they?

Im going to find out today what the insurance will pay for. Im sure they will cover all but the paint which I am hoping the guy that did it can at least try to fix it. Im going to have the shop I took it to that painted it fix it.
I hope they can fix it at least, the supports around the headlights are all smashed. My radiator is in this V shape and my a/c leaked out all over the place. Its drivable but it looks like crap.
At this point I hope they can fix it rather then total it.
My knees a bit ****** up from it all. And I doubt I will ever leave you.
Sorry guys but I vote no on the eribuni kit. The sides and the back are okay, so Im going to replace the front bumper.

Like wise. just took my car to the body shop today to get almost the exact same parts that you listed(hood, bumper cover, radiator, condenser, radiator support, etc) Total price is gonna be about $2800, which is $1100 less than the mazda dealer bodyshop gave me an estimate for

are you sure the bodyshop didn't quote you with "quality replacement" (not factory) parts?

btw jo, go see a doctor. don't wait untill your knees get worse. go get them checked out now

Well I went to see the body shop they seemed optomistic about it being fixed without it having to be painted all over again from scratch. I miss the car already. The car for the condition it was in drives great. I still had some fun on the twisties before I took it in...bungie holding the bumper on of course.
My mom almost rear ended me while we were on the way to the shop. Freaky. I have NO luck. Im wondering now how this is going to get worse.

See, based on the title, I thought this thread would be about something good happening. For instance, you fought Mazda USA and won over something. The thread should really be "Nissan Altima: 1, Joelene: 0", the Altima is owning/beating you right now.

That said, sorry to hear about your misfortune. You seem like a tough cookie, though. I'm sure within a few days you'll have that grin on your face again, making us all smile in the process.
